So the tories slagged the previous administration for giving a £80 million loan to Forgemasters so that they can buy in equipment to make essential castings for the new nuclear fleet of reactors. The short-sighted tories didn't realise that this loan was essential to their baby's survival and made good political gain out of cancelling the loan last year, much to the embarrassment of Nick Clegg in whose constituency Forgemasters is situated.


Now the penny has dropped and Forgemasters have got their money or the contracts will go abroad.
