Restricted Diet - Gluten/Wheat/Dairy Free

If you're on a restricted diet for health reasons or just through choice, Meiklejohns Confectioners, Thurso Street, Wick, now have a couple of gluten, wheat and dairy free bars in stock. Nakd Cocoa Orange contains dates, cashews, raisins, cocoa and a hint of natural orange and chocolate flavour while Nakd Cashew Cookie contains cashews and dates. We are happy to try and obtain others if customers request.

Thats nice to know as im celiac and its nice to have a treat i also noticed in tescos today they sell gluten free xmas mince meat pies thanks Mrs Sweetie for that.

Thank you Doreen, we are hoping to take delivery next week of gluten free cookies and chocolates made with rice milk and I will post when they are available.

Dietry restrictions are very much a learning curve for me. I asked a few manufacturers if the products I stocked of theirs were gluten free/wheat free etc.. Mostly the responses were helpful but a couple said "Tell your customers to read the labels"!
