Could human remains be those of missing English angler?
POLICE inquiries are continuing in a bid to identify human remains discovered on the beach in Stoer Bay, near Lochinver, in north-west Sutherland.
The discovery was made by a member of the public, yesterday afternoon, and police and coastguards converged on the scene.
A 55-year-old angler disappeared in the area, last month. Stephen Matheson from Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, had been fishing from rocks. His car was found parked at Stoer Lodge.
