Heres a novel idea! Go and visit some friends - bring a bottle of something warming (preferably not paraffin) and maybe even something to eat. Wish your friends a happy new year and other them some refreshment / sustinence - Repeat with more friends until you fall over or its February, whichever comes soonest!
