There is an article about Dounreay in "The Scotsman" today, it is so glowing it reads a bit like a public relations piece:

Can't see much wrong with it. Do you think Dounreay has harmed education and engineering in Caithness and the North?

Do you really think that they don't 'spin' these stories?
Someboby owes something to someone, thus you get these portrayels as you see here.....
BUT Dounreay produced experts whose skills are used around the World...Take the Nuke industry where I am...the apprentices then are now sought around the World.
Is Dounreay safe/ who knows/ we are told what we are told!
I don't think Caithness is going to get much of the 6 Billion pounds they are on about.
I had an opportunity to go/apprentice at Dounreay/ I chose not to. Others I know had/did and are well respected in their chosen profession.
