Advertising for this has been all over the TV like a rash and you might be interested to know that you can play this new lottery game at Meiklejohns Confectioners, Thurso Street, Wick.

It’s a new weekly lottery specifically designed to raise money for British health related good causes. Tickets cost £1 each and of this 20p will go to British health-related good causes.

Anyone over the age of 16 can buy a ticket and just match 3 numbers to win £50 or 4 numbers to win £500. The top prize is £100,000 and if more than one player matches the winning numbers, they each win £100,000 it’s not divided up between the winners. The £50 prize is paid out by any outlet running the lottery but the other prizes have to be claimed from the promoters.

To play you buy a ticket for £1 for each line you want to play and choose 5 numbers between 1 and 50. If you can’t decide what numbers to choose you can have a Quick Pick and the numbers are randomly generated for you. You can play just one draw at a time or for up to 8 weeks in advance. The draw will be televised for the first six weeks on ITV1 at 9.30pm in the advert break of The X Factor.

Tickets can not be sold after 7.30pm on the Saturday of the draw so please don’t leave it until the last minute as if we have a queue you might miss the cut off.

Thank you. :D
