Vessel taken in tow after engine trouble
THE Wick lifeboat Roy Barker 2 was launched yesterday to go to the aid of the local fishing vessel Naiomi M.
The vessel developed engine problems when fishing off Clyth Ness, some nine miles south of Wick.
The lifeboat was on scene within 25 minutes and took the vessel in tow, back to Wick, arriving one-and-a-half-hours later.
There was a choppy sea running and a 20-knot westerly wind.
