Ms Nicolson drank and slept at work panel told
A FORMER nurse at the Dounreay Atomic site won’t be able to practice for 18 months following a suspension by the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
A recent hearing in Edinburgh, heard allegations that Jill Nicolson drank while on duty, slept at work and stole healthcare products. Ms Nicolson admitted some of the accusations, which the panel heard, may have been related to a health condition. In its ruling, the panel concluded that the allegations, if repeated, could place patients “at real risk of harm”.
The panel’s decision to suspend Ms Nicolson is an interim one, pending a full investigation by the
Council.
Ms Nicolson had been living in Lybster, but has since moved to stay with her partner in the Central Belt.
