View Full Version : Help....spilt superglue.

I was mending some items with superglue on my kitchen worktop now it has hard lumps of superglue all over it which i cant remove. Any suggestions please?
Even got an earing stuck on my thumb for 15 minutes.......now I have a hole in my thumb and skin on my earing!!!! I was even wearing disposable gloves! http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/32.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZN)

You do get superglue remover, not seen it in any shops here though, might need to try the internet.
Acetone is good for removing superglue also..

Try nail polish remover (as it is acetone based).

Thank you all for your help. I used nail varnish remover and a nail file to scrape the hardened superglue off my kitchen worktop. It took ages and ages but worked. thanks again.
