Anyone else in Thurso with cloudy water straight from the tap this morning?
It settles to clear on standing, but not brave enough to drink it!

Its fine to drink. This often happens if the water board have been at work on the supply line. :D

Most cloudy water is caused by air getting in the system when the line has been worked on and will as you say clear on standing. It's fine to drink.

The problem was caused by engineers treating the water with bromide instead of fluoride. This operation will be reversed by adding trace quantities of viagra to the supply for the next 5 days.
