We saw a huge flock arriving yesterday late evening on about 200 meters out to sea from Thurso beach .They are probably getting ready to their Autumn migration.It was fantastic to watch them and we were surprised by their numbers,probably over 200,if not more further away as they seem to be gathering all along and across the water.
Did anybody else had a chance to see them too?Did anyone see them leave possibly early morning today?
Maybe someone was lucky to make pictures of them ?We forgot to take our cam,unfortunately.
