I read an article recently on the effects that soap opera's have on society
which questioned the idea that they now reflect society.
It talked of some areas in the world where soap opera's have been used to lift the moral standards in the country and through the years have actually seemed to improve them! As people take their lead from them!
It seems a bit controlling of course but if church is not doing the business then are our principles being led by a new sort of cleaning agent..soap.
If so what are our soaps trying to do and do they lead or follow us?
