It's funny how you go through life, experiencing many exotic things; like a sheeps eyeball, and Durian (like eating peaches and cream in a stinking lavatory).. but I'm still coming across things I like.

I've always liked Mustard; be it French Dijon, or German (never like the English Mustard).. but recently I tentatively tried American Mustard and it was nice!..
And although I love soups, never actually got around to some and there again I discover that Mulligatawny Soup is fantastic!

Anyone else 'discovering' things?

I am discovering the older I get the less I seem to know or remember.

I've 'discovered' that nothing is ever black or white, there's usually a myriad of shades of grey in between.

Senior Citizens are the Nations Leading Carriers of AIDS!!!
Hearing Aids, Band Aids, Roll Aids, Walking Aids, Medical Aids,
Most of asll Monetary Aids to their Children.
The Golden Years Have Come at Last.
I cannot See, I cannot Pee, I cannot chew, I cannot Screw
My Memory shrinks, My hearing stinks, No sense of smell, I look like hell,
My body's drooping, got trouble pooping.
So the golden years have come at last?
WELL THE GOLDEN YEARS CAN KISS MY ASS!!!

Jim: As much as you would like to deny all of the above. it will happen anyway. Take the word of an 86-year old man. Been there, done it, and experienced everything mentioned above.

Today I discovered that if i fold up a duvet cover and put it in its matching pillowcase with the other pillow case and a sheet then my boys will have no excuse to tip up the linen cupboard looking for pillowcases. Trivial maybe but it will save me a whole afternoon of tidying out a tipped up cupboard.

The day your partner stops pairing up your socks after a wash is the day you should start putting away spare savings in an account which your partner will never know about.
