Bus depot plan approved by councillors
COUNCILLORS have given a replacement garage scheme at Thurso the go-ahead.
The decision, at a meeting of Highland Council’s Caithness, Sutherland And easter ross Planning Applications Committeee, at Tain, yesterday, was unanimous.
Wick member, Councillor Graeme Smith was at a loss to understand why the application had attracted objections from residents in neighbouring Janet Street, Thurso.
He said: “It will be a definite improvement.”
