Fuel and a watch taken in separate crimes
POLICE in Thurso are appealing for witnesses in connection with a theft of fuel.
The incident happened between 1855 hours on 15 August 2011 and 0700 hours on 16 August 2011. A substantial amount of fuel was stolen from the fuel tank of a GMR Henderson (Wick) lorry which was parked on Sinclair Street, Halkirk.
Anyone who may have any information regarding this incident, or saw anyone suspicious in this area at this time, is urged to contact Thurso Police station on 01847 893222 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
AN expensive watch has been stolen from outside the pavilion at Thurso Caravan Park.
The Garmin forerunner GPS timepiece worth some £300 disappeared on around 6pm on August 15.
