I think you might be confused!

The size, on Kilobytes or Megabytes is directly related to the size and quality of the picture itself. So for example, a HD pic of dimensions 1000x1000 will be much larger than a standard definition pic of dimensions 1000x1000. So you can either resize the picure and save it, or possibly compress the file itself using something like winzip or winrar.
