Hello all,
I don't know if you are aware of this, but thought I would post in the hope it helps out with the research of others.
I have found three copies of Slater's Directories online - 1878; 1886; 1903. They can be found at the following link, and they are all available for download as they are out of copyright...
http://www.archive.org/details/slaterslaterpigo187812uns (1878, Volume 1)
http://www.archive.org/details/slaterslaterpigo187822uns (1878, Volume 2)
http://www.archive.org/details/slaterslaterpigo1886unse (1886)
http://www.archive.org/details/slatersroyalnatip21903dir (1903)
I have found a few relatives in these publications - the Yellow Pages of the day (let your fingers do the walking! Am I showing my age by knowing the slogan?!)
Hope it helps someone.
Regards,
Steven
