Did anyone else get a letter from this guy asking for £30, £300.00 or a mear £500.00 for his political campaign. Ive sent him back the nice postcard he enclosed with the begging letter suggesting he saves himself some money by not sending out these letters. Hed save on paper, ink, envelopes, stamp and not forgetting the nice postcard he enclosed! Is he crazy or what?

Doubt if he can understand anything. My mum tired of telling him to stop sending Christmas cards to my dad - he's been dead 7 years!

Got ambushed by him while trying to get into Homebase a few weeks ago!! Popped-up out of the blue like he had shot up from under a manhole cover! Handed me and my father-in-law a couple of postcards each..then proceeded to have a severe go at Charles Kennedy calling him every name under the sun, then vanished leaving his parting shot..."Kennedy's a traitor! 100 years ago he's have been put up against a wall and shot!! Absolute *censored*!"
And then like a wrinkly ninja he was gone!
My father-in-law and I were stopped dead in our tracks, mouths agape and stunned! It was almost like being mugged, just far more surreal!
After about 10 seconds of shock, we then both creased up into hysterics!!
Please let him get to Westminster!!! I want to watch him on telly!!!

Pity we can't shoot him, he cames under the endanger bird species act the capercallie. He always sent my partner a card with a begging letter for £500, she gets it every year when any election comes up, I don't get any from him as I have clipped his feathers.

The most hilarious/cringe worthy performance I have ever experienced was at the pre-election hustings meeting about 7 years ago. He ranted like a thing possessed, went on to champion the germans during the war and in particular Stuttgart. This all culminated in him starting to take his clothes off!!

A few years ago people were complaining he was just walking into thier houses, to ask them to vote for him, and then another year he started stripping off his clothes at the town hall. He was also arrested at skibo castle for causing a disturbance. The mans a fruit cake.

I agree ! I was there too with my mum! It was the most unbelievable exhibition I have ever seen.Perhaps he could make some money at the Edinburgh Fringe, after all I've heard that some people will pay to see almost anything!

And Campbell gets to his feet in a packed house, the mass of his fellow party members sit crammed in the pews behind him waiting for the representative for the constituency of ASDA, Tesco and Easter Ross to begin speaking on his proposal to make the carrying of Bagpipes mandatory within the Highland Region. They gaze astonished as Campbells face reddens and puffs up. They realise he is flipping across to his alter ego, The Caithness Capercaille. Luckily, before he starts to sprout feathers and spout Bullplop, a quick-thinking back-bencher delivers the antidote via a paper aeroplane, seen piercing Campbell's plumage (ASDA £29.99) in our exclusive photo. Doctors have said that it is unlikely that Campbell will be able to speak in public again, his condition is said to be satisfactory.

I think we have our laugh at him in previous years, cant believe he's going for it again, he is a tireless campaigner and he fights his own campaign touring relentlessly round the constituency getting his message out which you cant knock him for. The only problem is nobody want to hear it, he should give up, but he wont. I wonder who he will be gunning for this year.

If I remember correctly, he was wearing a bright electric blue hand-knitted jumper. In the bright sunshine of that afternoon, it was just another of the senses that was overloaded by his sudden appearance in mid-tirade!

Of course the man's nutty as a nutty thing....but no more bonkers than other's who are in government.
Can just imagine him on Tuesdays and Thursdays during Prime Minister's Questions getting into full swing!!! That would be TV worth watching!
