Thurso library has a display of old photos of Thurso on the entrance notice board. Some of them I have never seen before. They were found in the cellar of the library. Have a look and see if you can help library staff to identify when they were taken and who the collection belonged to. Some were taken before some of the later houses in Duncan Street were built. Braeside, where the Andersons, lived has not been built. There are quite a few of groups paddling at the beach. Some were taken from the top of a church. I'll need to go back and look again but I think it was the West Church.
