Well done to Halkirk Football Club for reaching the semi-finals of the Nos Cup by defeating Clachnacuddin tonight at the Harmsworth Park.You are a credit to Caithness Football and the North Caledonian League.

A truly phenomenal achievement,proving that Caithness is a hot bed of football skills so well done to Halkirk FC. Its only these last 3 years that North Caley League teams ( teams from top 4 in their league ) have been invited to participate in the North Cup. Halkirks achievements prove that the decision was a good one. In my mind theres very little difference between botom three SHFL clubs and top 3 in the North Caley League. So all the best lads !
