Does anybody know where I can obtain a list of Caithness charities

Planning to hold a fundraiser and all monies raised will be donated to a Caithness charity of our choice.

Many thanks

Try Caithness Voluntary Group they may be able to help.

Seems to me to be the wrong way round - you have a cause in mind and THEN try to raise funds

Hi Mushroom

If you go to this website it will give you all the registered charities up in this area:

http://www.oscr.org.uk/search-charity-register/

OSCR is the group that accept new charities in Scotland.

Also, all Playgroups are not fully government funded so they need to raise money every year to meet costs and buy new toys/equipment needed to start off our childrens' education. (I only know about this since my daughter started a local playgroup!).

Good luck in raising money for worthy local charities :)

As i said in a previous post. Not all organisations/charities are registered. Theres actually more not registered than there are registered.
Maybe CVG will be able to advise better on local groups. www.cvg.org.uk (http://www.cvg.org.uk)
