My daughter has one of these miniature russian hamsters and he/she/it loves her wheel and goes absolutely beserk. She has been known to lie on top of it.

p.s. is there enough heat in hamster to activate a PIR on a burglar alarm system? Been having spurious alarms in the room we keep the beast.
