Does anyone know for definite if Tom Weir did an episode which covered Caithness and Sutherland in his long running series Weir's Way? Some of it is out on DVD but I think not all of them are for sale. Thanks

I hope he did better than the bloke who did the voiceover for that series about the coast. My mum sent me the one that covered Caithness (in US format). The camera work was great, but he kept pronouncing things funny. When he insisted that geos were pronounced jee-ohs "and they have always been called that" I just about blew a fuse.

That sounds like STV's "Edge of the Land".As you say,George, great camera work, but the mispronunciations are really intrusive. The annoying thing is that the writer/narrator is George Rosie who has family in Wick(and should know better!).
