... It's a McConnachie!

In the mechanics of goalkeeping, that could well have been the cry from Lossiemouth assistant manager, Stuart Cameron and his fans, after a frustrating 90 minutes, in which their keeper of that name coped with everything that Wick Academy could threw at him.
Colin McConnachie pulled off a series of brilliant saves to defy Academy a goal and, at the other end, teammate Ross Archibald pounced on the keeper’s parry to stab home the all-important winner.
The 1-0 scoreline and the Lossie keeper’s superb performance-it included a two one-to-one saves- from pacey striker Sam Mackay- left new Scorries boss, Dave Kirkwood at a loss to come to terms with the defeat at the final whistle... and it certainly wasn’t down to a shortage of chances on goal.
He said: “I’m bewildered, baffled and bamboozled as to how we have come away with nothing to show for all our efforts.”
Kirkwood paid tribute to the Coasters keeper but added: “We dominated 90 per cent of the game.”
Even Lossie assistant manager Cameron had to admit: “ We rode our luck”.
