I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of purchasing a Plasma large screen TV think twice before considering purchasing from ' Beyond Television.co.uk ' and certainly reconsider purchasing a LG model.
We purchased our TV twenty one months ago and it has now developed a fault which renders the TV unusable. Research on the Internet ( included www.reviewcentre.com (http://www.reviewcentre.com) ) provides documented evidence of a fault which develops after a period of ( you guessed !)approximatly 21 months ! - LG refuse to recall this model or to provide any customer service in respect of resolving the problem.
Legally, recourse for the customer is through the point of sale.
''Beyond Television's response :... ''we do not consider we have sold you an inherant fault at the date of purchase...''
I think we can reasonably expect a TV to work for a period longer than 21 months .... am aware of the options available in respect of pursuing this complaint - just wanted to spare anyone thinking of buying a new TV the frustration of legal wranglings with suppliers and manufacturers !
