A few minutes ago, when I hit new posts, it showed two threads which said 'moved'. I wondered if it meant deleted or moved to a part of the board I don't have access to..a high posting members forum or such like.

I think they will have been moved to the appropriate messageboard section, eg technical, recommendations etc but that is only a guess

Or as has happened to a recent post about a police matter, it has disappeared into the ether

A thread about something for sale placed on this Forum would probably be moved to one of the Things for Sale Forums for example where people who might be interested would be more likely to be looking.
