Kingetter its a red admiral, counted 15 in garden today

Oh! they're kinda common then aren't they? Mine was in Orkney two weeks ago. About on a level with Cabbage Whites maybe?

I saw the white butterfys a few months back, along with the beautiful blue butterflys, but its only the red admirals that i see now.

If butterflies only live for two or three days where do they go to die? Cant say Ive ever seen a dead one and theres loads of them {live ones] around this year!

Speaking of Chinese Philosophy and chi or is it qi.........Id forgotten all about good chi and bad chi, I used to always shift things around in the house or throw stuff away that didnt feel right anymore. Could be your right percy! Could be the butterfly was a Chinese Philospher re-incarnated come back to remind us about chi. :Razz The Chinese say that if your going to build a house on a plot of land, to check it first to make sure its good chi is to get a sheep and to get it to graze on that bit of land, if the sheep strays away its bad chi! :Razz
