Old duvets

I have had a look through old threads as I am sure it has been covered on here before but I can't find it. Anyone take old duvets as they can't really be re-cycled? It is past it's sell by date - only useful for dog/animal.

I could do with one as my old lady prefers to sleep on them rather in a dog bed but my pup has a thing for nibbling the edges and taking the filling out so they end up being mostly empty after a year or so .... unless of course you can give it to a rescue place in which case I can always buy a new one for her.
