courgettes

I have 4 plants all with about 6 yellow flowers on them. Now I want to eat the flowers too so do they come off before the courgettes get big or ?

Usually I wait until the flowers fall off before harvesting the courgettes. Not sure when to pick the flowers to eat. Not eaten the flowers before, but I've seen a recipe to deep fry them!

I've only tried them once and they were delish! I think I'm going to pick the courgettes whilst they are still quite small so hopefully I can get the best of the flowers too. First time growing courgettes.:)
