Just experienced a very low flying C130 pass over Scarfskerry heading toward Dunnet Head. It had to bank and climb to clear the cliffs. If this is training I wish crab-air would let us all know.

Yes, it went 'by' us at Strathy Point, really low and close to the Cliffs, quite quiet too - unlike those tornadoes we get here..

Was gathering sheep near Durness and it passed over Gualin Lodge and headed up the valley towards Gober and flying lower than where I was walking.
Nice to see though

Thanks Phil, that's the beastie that buzzed us up at Forsinan on Wednesday, sadly my photo is not that good as I was too busy running for cover!

I was picking up a friend from Bettyhill when a plane flew past down the River Naver and around the point towards the beach on the Borgie side. It was travelling quite slow and quiet but was so low I thought it was looking to land or crash. It was about 9.40am this morning 15th June 2015. Did anyone else see it and can they explain why. It did look a bit like the C130 but was quite small and I'm no expert
