A parakeet flew over me while I was out washing the car on Sunday morning. Long tail, mostly yellow and grey, with a bit of red on its face.

My mum said she saw an unusal looking bird sitting on the wall in my garden, I think it was yesterday afternoon about 5 o clock. She said it was a colourful bird with yellow on it.
She said she thought it must have escaped from an aviery because it didn't look like our normal starling, sparrow, thrush, scorrie!! lol

Has the bird been found?
