Wondering if Wisteria grows/survives up here?

I have seen a small wisteria growing on a bungalow not far from Gillock, no flowers on it though but it may have been too young to flower, its a beautiful climber .

I keep mine a large pot, indoors in the winter and outside in the 'summer'. Seems to work ok for me

Best way I think.
I put mine in very deep with sheeps wool around the roots and base of plant plus topped the soil with bark and mulch too. Wont be buying anymore though as I wanted them to climb up the walls.
