what happened to my bear?

You must have seen this story. It's about a bear. A large mammal. Too big to get lost on this site I would have thought. It's a great story. it even has the Battle of Cassino in it. Please post my bear! It's been over a year since I posted here. Give my bear some publicity, please,then I wont bother you for another year. Maybe Edinburgh zoo is publicising the bear story.

Rich and John, what great links to a wonderful piece of history. I must admit I have never heard about the bear, but my goodness what a story. I must have seen him many times in Edinburgh zoo and just thought he was another ordinary bear, but he was no ordinary bear. You have brightened my day.
