If this was an investigation (Murder)the question would be " did they jump or were they pushed ". If housing associations are run like the one in Thurso "God help you ".Its run like a private company with all the family and friends involved getting a big slice of the money pie .
If the Government would like to save some Tax payers money way dont they give the houses to the sitting tenents and save the £150-200 million sweetener that goes with the transfer .The £150-200 million could then be used to build GOOD sustainable housing which IS affordable ,so that young people can stay in the community .These so called Do gooders that are wrapped up in the Association Flag are shouting thats its for your benefit ,well i have heard that one before .Was in't the Health Boards that said the" New Health Trusts "are for the community benefit and look were that got us .Mothers standing outside in the cold with their babies fighting for the Right to have their Children Born Locally .So much for the Trusts or Association being for your benefit .There used to be a Government ad run on the telly .it said "Never take sweets from anyone you do not know ".Its not Safe ...You deside ..

Do you know that a Thurso Housing Assocation only spend half of what the Council spends on the upkeep and repair for their stock .I dont think the New Highland Stock Transfer will do any better than the Thurso one .If your in a Council house vote to stay there ......
