Saw a thread which is now closed about my Great Great Grandfather David Alexander Cormack born 1837, who was related to my Great x 4 Grandfather John Harper born circa 1780 who fought in the peninsula wars.Any Cormack in this family tree should know that there is a comprehensive tree which has been put together by Lawrence Cormack originally from Edinburgh. Some of the family moved from Caithness to Glasgow and Edinburgh before 1900. My Grandfather David Alexander Cormack was born 1901. My father William Ryrie Cormack was born in 1927 and moved to Aberdeen in 1957. I am David Alexander Cormack born Aberdeen 1959, and moved to the USA in 1995.Would be interesting to hear from anyone connected to this tree.
