Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any puppy/dog obedience training available in the caithness area. I am planning getting a puppy and want it to get used to socialising with other dogs at a young age :)

Thanks
Dave

Caithness Canine Club hold training classes in the Assembly Rooms on a Tuesday night and I would highly recommend it as they have many many years of experience of dogs and a wider range of attendees who also show their dogs.

We go to the training on a Sunday at Bower...classes are brilliant and only £5.00 an hour. Our wee pup has come on really well in the last 4 weeks since she's been going. Caroline also teaches the owners about the behaviours they themselves need to display and consider for the training to be successful which i hadn't thought about before hand...we're learning as much as Roxy is :)

Carolyne at Greenland K9 Training is brilliant, my pups came on really well with her training and she is brilliant with humans, too!

I think Greenland K9 training is fine if you have a puppy or a dog without issues but the trainer doesn't have the experience of more serious issues as I know some people have found out.

I disagree, I go every sunday without fail, and if help is needed Carolyne is on hand with good advice. Sometimes its the owners that have issues and not the pups???
