Oh yes, you never know what germs houses have and pass on, you can't be too careful. Spray the owners while you're at it, some of them are clatty. ;)

Because most houses have harling on them, I would have thought spraying would be a much easier option to painting.

Our house has a lot of surface which is either pebble-dash / harled, been using Weathershield masonry paint with a roller.. A few years ago remember seeing a 'Weathershield EasySprayer' in Homebase in Wick, thought that's a good idea, but shortly after it disappeared - note sure if they did not live up to expectations? although they still advertise easyspray masonry paint on their website, but could be out of date? http://www.dulux.co.uk/products/info/weathershield_easyspray_smooth_masonry_paint.jsp anyone tried this type of paint spraying?
