A new exhibition of Johnston photographic images dealing with Rural Heritage is on show at the Castletown Heritage Centre, really worth a look. Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 2 -4pm

Must have a look; these old images are worth seeing. The differences between then and now around Caithness are amazing!

Many congratulations to all the folks who have put this exhibition together; I know many, many hours of hard work and dedication has gone into this.

They are facinating, Caithness is very lucky to have a family that were at the cutting edge of photgraphy at the turn of the last cenuary.

I enjoy history that I can relate to, (consider what things were like in my grand parents days) and this collection offers a great insight to what life was like in that period.

Well done to all those involved for giving us the oppotunity to enjoy them.
