and normal people look like celebrities.
I turn pancakes brown
and make your champane bubble.
If you sqeeze me, I'll pop.
If you look at me, you'll pop.
Can you guess the riddle?

After a couple of minutes and starting at the end and little help from Edward De Bono's Lateral Thinking (Or perhaps yes it does help to turn it all round) My conclusion after couple of minutes is - there is no answer to this one and my answer based on the last line is - "NO"

The time has come,
winter is here
and those yellow bears disappear.

The time has past
as man looks back with a sigh
and a tear in his eye.

As time is held
boys cross their legs
but of course the toilet begs

Girls loose their blush
and swap a comb for their brush

For those held high
their end is nigh

when we get to the final sequel

Without it we have flour and water

I seem to recall this as one of the riddles the Queen of Sheba asked Solomon to test his reputation for great wisdom....:) (from the account, he got it right, btw).


That first poem, though, I have seen the answer supposedly given to be 'god' in one of those email Fwds, but the idea of a god popping if squeezed just seems a little too weird! I can think of a number of other different answers (time is a potential one), but none of them really fit completely either, to my mind...unless you go for just answering the question at the end as 'no'. :lol:
