He looks like an amphibian to me (at home on land or water).
If you find the right going on a race track he could clean up. I'd back him a few quid if the ground was very,very,very wet. If there were any water jumps though I'd be worried he'd stop to show off his snorkeling technique.
Cute pic, lassieinfife! :) If he was Mr Ed the talking horse, perhaps he'd be saying "Anyone for a swim?"
