Gardening Clubs ?

I was wondering if there are any gardening clubs in the Thurso to John O Groats area. I am mainly interested it veggies,

The Mey & District Gardening Club meet at the Britannia Hall, Dunnet on the third Thursday of each month.

During the summer months there are local garden visits and an annual outing and during the winter there are talks, demonstrations and slide shows.

A bulb show is held each spring and a flower and vegetable show in the autumn.

Reay Gardening Club meets in the village hall every 1st Wednesday of the month at 7.30 pm, you would be welcome to join us.

What do you do at these gardening clubs? May seem like an anal question but I'm really interested. Have considered joining one myself but not sure what it all entails.

Where's the nearest one to Lybster??
Seaview House, Lybster, started last Wednesday. Meeting 7pm to 8:30 pm every Wednesday. Last week was about digging and ground preparation. Looking forward to next week!
