Does anyone know if there is anywhere in Caithness that do food allergy testing. I know the Beauty Box and Williamsons Chemist used to but both have stopped for some reason. Thanks

the reasonthey stopped is probably covered in this bbc watchdog article

Basically the tests were a total sham!

I think the tests were stopped because they were found to be unreliable. Here is an investigation by Watchdog (http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/watchdog/2009/02/food_intolerance_test.html) regarding these tests.

A hair tissue mineral analysis test (http://www.naturesystems.co.uk/hair_mineral_analysis.htm) is the most essential cornerstone test we perform at our clinic.
