I have just read the article about Christmas Boxes on the front page and must say I am thoroughly disappointed that this gesture of Good Will is being used as Christian propaganda.
We sent our Boxes through the school, can anyone say if all the Boxes are treated in this manner?
I'll refrain from filling another Box until I hear.

Thank you.

I think the article on the front page is very misleading.

From pictures of previous years collections in local schools, I thought the shoeboxes were collected for Blythswood Care. Their website says they deliver them to Eastern Europe
It does say "After checking your box, Blythswood Care will add a Bible storybook for kids, a diary with bible verses for teenagers or a Bible calendar for adults. It will then be sent to someone in Eastern Europe in time for Christmas.", but as far as I know, Eastern Europe is predominantly Christian

Sorry trinkie. I never noticed your thread when I started a similar one.
