NORTHERN CONSTABULARY
AT around 13.34 today the body of an elderly man was recovered from the water at Papigoe Shore, Wick.
The 92-year-old man was spotted by a member of the public who alerted Police.
The man, who is not being named at this time until all next of kin have been informed, was last seen at his home in Wick at around midday.
The coastguard were alerted and assisted in the recovery of the body.
There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
