Strange question. Had you any particular breed, height, age, type in mind? Are you thinking of riding, driving, breeding, competing or maybe a companion perhaps? Lots of folks looking to sell horses and ponies, but if you are looking for a dealer - as your post suggests - I don't know of any north of Inverness. Sorry.

No l always used to have a horse welsh mountain cob 13hands,but feel l need something to do as l miss just getting on and going out, in a world of my own ha ha would have to be about 15 hands as l weigh about 16 st so no competing just a plodder or thought l might just get one for my son and teach him who is 12yrs and small build but would need to be a quiet nature for a learner, so doesn't need to be a dealer.so where do you see them locally advertised.
