Why the fence???

Does anyone out there know why on earth they have put that ridiculous looking fence up in Wick opposite the derelict dominoes site? - where the army caravan used to be years ago!

I thought it was suppossed to be a seating area but I see they have moved the benches too!!

Another eyesore for Wick!!

I had a look at this on my way to work yesterday morning. it looks like a lot of the paving slabs are broken and in a mess. I think the fence has been put up so that people don't walk in there and get hurt. Just like the council to spend money to put up a fence rather than fix the slabs.
