I go away for a couple of days and all the leaders of all the opposition parties in Scotland have resigned.

Why? My theory is that they don't want anything to do with an SNP dominated Parliament.

I think it is a bit more important than that, without any kind of effective opposition, SNP will have carte blanch on even the most extreme and looney tendencies they have.
