The seals in Thurso are back!!

Passed this morning and there they were 2 of them sitting on the island

Thought the island got dug up a bit to stop them?

Didn't do much good then eh?

Yeah I guess it must affect some people with the salmon and stuff but you have to admit, it something else seeing a crowd of them lounging around..

Seals are wonderful, they make great Winter Coats.

Furry side in or out?

Maybe the large population of seals are the reason the orcas are getting spotted in our waters more often these days. Maybe this will redress the population explosion of these pests and help to bring back a natural balance to the area.

webmannie, definitely furry side in, helps trap the warm air. I believe the blubber makes very good lamp oil but i've never tested it out.

Probally best to ask an eskimo about that. I am sure they will be experts on the subject

Ask an Eskimo, no thanks, they might want me to help them eat the liver, they like it raw and still warm.

I mind seeing a mannie eating raw liver outside the old job centre in Thurso. It was disgusting.

He wasn't an Eskimo though, just a mannie that wasn't right in the heid.
