Police recovered heroin worth thousands
NORTHERN Constabulary has recovered over £60,0000 worth of heroin within the past fortnight.
Officers seized £30,000 worth of the drug from a vehicle on the A9, south of Inverness, on Saturday. A 29-year-old man has been arrested and reported to the procurator fiscal at Inverness.
That case follows another seizure of heroin, also worth £30,000 on the A9, on April 29. Two men, aged 40 and 33, were arrested and reported to the procurator fiscal, in connection with the incident
