It looks like it's very wet in the north. How are they coping ?
I wonder if they'll make Scotland tonight !
How exciting. I hope they get a good turn out at John O Groats , a Welcome Party is most important, wish I could be there.

It must be hard to keep motivated and moving in such awful weather!

I was a bit out with the wind direction in #2..
They've done around 590 miles? and got about 272 miles to go, so hopefully (weather permitting) they should do a 10 day trip, which is very good..

Day 8 - update

Partly cold wet and miserable cycle to Golspie, another 95 miles today. Keith is hoping to complete the final leg of his journey to John O'Groats tomorrow. At the moment we think this may be somewhere between 6pm and 7.30pm - however we will update the site once we get a firmer time.

Thank you for all the updates. Keith has done very well keeping up good mileage despite the weather conditions.
Do you know if he is going to JoG via Wick? It would be nice if some folk went out to cheer him on the last leg of the journey.

Good luck,
Trinkie

Keith has done very well today (day 9) getting as far as he did. When he left this morning it looked to be a very wet and windy day, but it dried up even if it was still windy!! We're all looking forward to seeing him arrive at JOG.
